Kirk Snyder a Rocket

I really like this move. Snyder was a beast at Nevada in college. According to Feigen, the Rockets simply swapped second-round picks and a little cash to add the former Hornet to the roster. Snyder is 6'6", 225 pounds, very tough and very athletic. He rebounds pretty well for a guard and gets to the basket. His is not really a spot-up shooter, but he did make 35% of his three-point attempts last season, which is not bad at all, and he is a natural scorer. From the Morey-perspective, this is another justifiable move, in that the Hornets averaged 6.8 point per game positive differential when Snyder was on the court versus when he was on the bench. In his final season at Nevada (his junior season), Snyder averaged 18.8 points per game, 5.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists. This is a great fit for the Rockets, who continue to impress this offseason.

I like it. Still a giant hole at PG, but Snyder's a nice pick-up.
