Why You Should Not Hire Stewart Mandel as your AD

In his mailbag at SI.com, Stewart Mandel explained the large discrepancy in quality between the Big XII North and Big XII South in part as follows:

While I certainly expect the gap to start lessening as soon as this season, it's hard to imagine that the balance of power will shift back to the North again anytime soon, as long as you have four coaches in the South (Bob Stoops, Mack Brown, Dennis Franchione and Mike Leach) whom you'd take in a heartbeat over anyone in the North save Bill Snyder.

I would like a show of hands from people who don't watch The Surreal Life (filters out the brain dead) and did not either "graduate" from Kansas State University or share an intimate life experience with Bill Snyder that would rather have Bill Snyder in charge of their college football program than any of Stoops, Mack, Fran or Leach. While we're at it, Stewie, I would also rather have Coaches Morris, Gundy, Mangino and McCarney than Snyder as well.
